The crazies questions

The Crazies

1.  Two events from the film that happened in a different time and space to the one we are shown is Russel’s journey, for example when his tyres get spiked when he tries to leave the town when the outbreak starts to emerge. Then when he escapes the school after a truck crashes into the fence that is holding everyone, allowing him to quickly run and get out of there.

Then there is the medical examiner and man at the funeral parlour, they take blood alcohol tests of the guy that came onto the baseball pitch at the beginning and the tests are clear.

2. Another two events that cause later events in the film but occur before the film ‘starts’ is when the plane crashes that the hunters discover in the woods.

-          The pilot is found

-          Plane found

The effect that this then causes is the toxin from the plane leaks in the water supply causing people to then go ‘crazy’.

Then we find out that Judy is pregnant which we don’t see happen. When they then get taken and evacuated by the military and get tested David is clear, but Judy isn’t even though she isn’t actually infected. This causes David to then go back to the school to save her as well as finding Becca and by taking this action he then avoids death.

3.  Act 1: When the group of hunters are walking through the woods and come across a body strapped to a parachute this being the pilot of the crashed plane that is then discovered in the water. Also at the baseball game where the normality is shown and then an old man acting strange walks onto the pitch.

Act 2: This being the disruption of the film which shows the situation becoming worse and the characters trying to survive and figure out what's going on. This being the part where most of the action takes place.

Act 3: The main characters have figured out what has caused this thing to happen, as well as escaping away from the town and leaving to what they think will be safety, when the audience know that the same thing is about to happen to where they are going. This meaning there isn't really much of a restoration of normality.
