how to use the camera:
The beginning of the exercise was learning how to use the camera correctly by going through the different settings needed to film and putting the camera on the tripod safely so it doesn't all of.
exposure triangle:
The exposure triangle has three parts to it, aperture, shutter speed and iso. The aperture is the measure of how far open the lens is, a wide aperture means more light will be let in and a smaller aperture means there will be less light. Shutter speed is how long the shutter remains open for, a fast shutter speed means less light will get in (low exposure), and a slower shutter speed means more light will get in (high exposure).
shallow depth of field:
The lower your f-number the smaller the depth of field. The higher the f-number the larger the depth of field.
Then imported all of our footage onto the mac and sorted it into files to keep all of our work organised by going into the movies folder and creating a folder called editing intro to keep work from getting misplaced and lost.
I then learnt how to do basic editing on premiere pro to turn our footage into a short film such as putting different clips together and fading one into the other by using transitions like, cross dissolve, fades and dip into black. Also how to get music using Creative Commons which means I can use their music as long as I give credit to them in the title, and then into my footage to create a soundtrack, I could also fade things like the music and scenes out by using the pen tool.
I like this shot because of the colours in the photo as they all go well with each other and the way the light is shining out into the corridor through the door ways and how there is a light right at the end of the corridor.
I don't really like this shot because the light that is coming through the windows is becoming the focus of the photo which is causing the rest of the picture to become very under exposed so it doesn't look as good as it good, so the camera could have been set up better to make the shot not look as dark.
A good evaluation and account Faith although I cannot see your stills for some reason.
